Thinking about the greenspace and marine biology you might want to treat the sea like part of your landscape or even part of your site. Could you integrate garden and sea somehow and also with your building? Canals within the garden or within the building? Or is the sea your lansdcape etc? Time to start thinking what relationship you want with the sea.
Also library being public is interesting, so the knowledge can be really transfered between public and researchers. Would it have some demonstration areas or overlook the main tank etc? It might become a project in itself. Very exciting.
